This week’s choice for the LoveRotica Book Challenge is a Mail Order Bride feature. I recently discovered author Olivia Gaines and fell in love with her work. It is funny and her characters are very memorable. The first book I read from her was her most recent work Oregon Trails.

Here’s What I Think:

This book was so funny! I found myself laughing all the way through the book. The dialogue was hilarious and the characters were very well written.

I fell in love with Paul right away and it only got better throughout the book. Kalinda was my girl. She had such a smart mouth and a presence about her. I felt like I knew her. There was a little bit of me in her.

The vivid descriptions of any and everything in this book made it play out in my head like a movie. The tone of the book was so familiar because of all the Southern expressions used in the dialogue. This was a true love story, but the underlying cast of characters had me in stitches.

If I was ever to find myself in desperate need of a husband, I would take a chance on being a modern mail order bride after reading this. Lol

I enjoyed this story so much. I can’t wait to read more by this talented author. I give this one 5 kisses!
