Remembering Gisele Walko

Gisele

March 25th marks the one year anniversary of my friend and fellow writer, Gisele Walko making her ascension to heaven. Even though I never met her in person, Gisele made a huge impact on my life. She was the nicest person and was always willing to help out fellow authors. She made it a point to push literacy and the works of indie authors. Her feedback was not only invaluable, she found a way to always make it positive. When the feedback was not favorable she was always kind in her delivery, a rarity.

Gisele WalkoNot only did she help authors, she was also a very talented writer in her own right. I was never one for paranormal books until I met Gisele and started reading her books. I was surprised at how quickly I went from not liking the genre, to falling in love with shifters and necromancers. She really had a way with spinning a tale.

If you have never read any of her books, I urge you to do so immediately. As we mourn her loss, let us celebrate her life by downloading at least one of her books and reading it today. If you are familiar with her work, please take the time to re-read one of her books. In doing this we make sure her words remain alive and well. You can purchase her work by clicking here.

I miss you, Gisele! Rest well.  #remembergisele
