Q & A

Tell us about your work in the Love is Color Anthology.
The two pieces I have chosen to share in this anthology “Neurotic Behavior” and “Death of a Prodigy” were inspired by inadequate inspiration. I shared them in hopes to encourage others!
Who or what inspired the work(s)?
Presently, I am inspired by my own inner strength and my will to make a difference for

myself as well as others. Music plays a major role in my inspiration too. At the moment I am deeply inspired by Aaliyah, Tamar Braxton and of course my favorite singers of all time Brandy and Janet Jackson. I’m moved by meaningful expression and I believe if expressed properly music can be life-changing; and for me, these artists have shaped my vision creatively.

What writer, poet or artist inspires you the most and why?
The writers, who inspire me most are Dr. Maya Angelou, and Langston Hughes mostly for the way they used their gifts to inspire others. Not to mention the way they’re able to create works that have been able to withstand time.
What’s next for you?
Currently, I am working on a solo Anthology of short stories scheduled to be released in May of this year. I am also collecting submissions for the 5th issue of soul scheduled for release in April of 2018. Also, My website is still under construction it is COMING SOON!

Where can readers find your work?
