LL: How did you get into writing erotic tales?

IN: I’ve always enjoyed reading erotica, even before I was supposed to be reading it. Lol. But when I discovered author Zane one day, I’d made up my mind that I wanted to write erotica like Zane. I sat down one day in front of my computer after reading one of her books and the rest is history! Lol.

LL: Do you put a little of yourself in your characters?

IN: Absolutely! I don’t think I could write without a little of myself between the pages. There are so many aspects to me, so I’m able to weave pieces of me into my stories.

LL:  How do you do your research?

IN: Depends on the story I’m writing. But generally it’s a combination of personal experience or the experience from someone I know and   Google! Sometimes,  I might also pay a visit to a sex shop/ den/ strip club/ grocery store, lingerie shop etc. for more research.

LL: Tell us about “The Red Room” and who or what inspired you to write it?india3

IN: The Red Room is an extremely saucy read about a business woman who finds out that she’s being blackmailed out of her business. Things take a really interesting twist when a little seduction and hidden video camera are thrown into the mix.  And things only get hotter from there. What inspired me to write the Red Room was just the need to tell a fast paced quickie for those on the run to read and enjoy. The Red Room actually started off as a short story I later decided to turn into a full book, due to popular demand for the story. I’m currently working on The Red Room 2!

LL: Do you ever get negative or unwanted attention because of the genre you have chosen? How do you deal with it?

IN: Yes I do get unwanted attention every blue moon but I just ignore it for the most part through social media. If it becomes too much, I try speaking to them about the matter and if it persist, I block them from my page.

LL: Who is the one writer that has influenced you the most in the genre and what is your favorite work by them?

IN: Author Zane is how I got into writing erotica. I fell absolutely,  head over heels in love with her work. I tried my hand in writing after reading all her work and decided to give it a try. And I’ve been happily writing erotica every since. My favorite book by her is Addicted!

LL: What is your take on how many sex scenes to include in a novel? Can there be too many?

IN: I don’t think there should be a certain number. I believe in the author writing as many sex scenes as they feel necessary.  But me personally, I like to at leave give three to four sex scenes. Whether its full blown sex or a blow job or pussy eating scene. I always feel my books aren’t complete without that number. But I’ve also been know to add many more. Lol! I don’t believe  that there can ever be too many sex scenes.

LL: What is your ultimate goal for your writing?

IN: My ultimate goal is just for people to enjoy my work. And when I say enjoy, I try to pull the reader in to the point where they feel everything the character feels, especially the sex! But also the emotional state of whatever the character is going through.

LL: What is your favorite sex position to write about in your novels?

IN: My absolute fave is when the woman is riding on top. I can describe that position is so may different ways. And I love to explain how my characters are feeling in that position.

LL: Are you a fan of toys?

IN: Yes! Absolutely! Lol. Toys are definitely a must for me. Especially the couples/remote control ones!

LL: What is your favorite sub-genre of erotica to read?

IN: I can’t really say that I have a fave sub-genre, I enjoy reading most of them.

LL: When does the kink go too far in your opinion?

IN: When it’s forced. It should never be forced.  And when your ignoring your partners cries and pleads to stop the act.

LL: Describe your writing process?

IN: I grab my note book(to jot down ideas and such), a few of my favorite snacks, a glass or wine/cup of coffee and my playlist or Pandora and park myself in front my laptop! And that’s it.

LL: What’s next on the agenda for you?

IN: Next for me will be the release of my next two erotic romance releases, Let Me Do You All Night Long 2 and Angelo’s Beauti.

***Bonus Question***

LL: Have you ever been so turned on by a scene you are writing that you needed to stop writing to take care of business?

IN: Absolutely! Lol. Majority of the time! Those steamy sex scenes are too hot for me to ignore.  Ha!
