Hi Lovebirds,

For this week’s installment of the 2017 Book Challenge, I chose to read in the BDSM sub-genre. I chose to read a book by Silk Jones called The Interview, but it was extremely short so I decided to add the sequel The Admin, as well. Here’s what I thought:

The Interview:

This book dabbles in BDSM and when I say dabbles I mean just that. The story is so short that there really isn’t time to get any real bang for your buck, so to speak. The main character is a recently unemployed legal secretary who applies for a job on a BDSM site as a submissive legal secretary. The applicant is a newbie to the world of BDSM and doesn’t really know if she is a submissive.

During the interview things get hot and steamy, including punishment for the disobedience of wearing panties. Apparently she was informed not to wear any during her screening for the interview.

Is this even legal? You would think a lawyer would be more concerned about retaining his good standing with the bar, than a quick f$%k during an interview. Well, This is usually the time when I tell you to read the book to find out what happens next, but after the spanking and a good sex scene the book is just about over. Move along, nothing more to see here… Oh she gets the job. I give this book 3 of 5 kisses.

The Admin:

Alright, alright, alright! Now we get into the BDSM of things. After reading the first book in the series, I was a little disappointed and was left wanting more. Well, I still want more, but I am no longer disappointed. This book takes us into the heart of the submissive’s training. I have to admit I am curious about the lifestyle and this book is a great introduction.

I felt very bad for Laura when Sir punished her for lying, but it was her own fault. He warned that heifer not to lie to him, but she did it anyway. I did however, love how tender Sir was after he made her pass out from her screaming orgasm. If I was curious about the lifestyle before, that scene made me want to run out and find a dungeon in my local area. I don’t think my hubby would be to happy about that so I chilled. Lol

I will just have to do more research and then work it into conversation later on. The screaming orgasm, not the dungeon. Anywho, this book was more detailed and longer than the first. It still left me hanging and now I need Mistress Jones to hurry up with the next installment. Stay tuned! I give this book 4 of 5 kisses.
